Sorry I figured this out by the $... So, has anyone ever ate this and would you do it again?

I ate there towards the end of our cruise. It was pretty good. I think the platter came with fried shrimp, calamari, fried fish and french fries. It was priced at maybe $12? I also got the clam chowder that was maybe $8. I cannot recall and I did not take photos, unfortunately.

Yes, I would go there again.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this . Going on first ever cruise next June , on the Valor, on this same itinerary . The programs have some awesome info.

Hmm....Chocolate Extravaganza.....was that free?

first cruise, how exciting! You will become an addict like the rest of us!

Yes, it's free and in the lido buffet. We didn't make it this time. Wifey and her sister were napping and I was making donations to Carnival in the casino. We've been on different ships... like chocolate? You will certainly enjoy it!

Thanks for posting! I’m sure i’ll be on Valor after she shifts to New Orleans. Good to know the shows are ones I haven’t seen on other ships.

Oh that's right, she's moving. I'm not sure if the same shows will be going on at that point.

Although we haven't been on many cruises yet, the Valor was the least visually appealing to us. She is decorated in such an over patriotic manner. I know that was the mood of the country at that point. But still, it was a bit much.

That being said, we are sailing her again in Feb!

They probably will be. When I see Fun Times from Elation they’re still doing the same shows I saw out of New Orleans in 2014.

Thanks for posting. We are going on first Carnival cruise on this itinerary Monday.

I am also replying to bump this up. "Search this forum" is not working, for me anyway, along with the log in from the Boards page.
