Vegan Cruising On NCL

We are new vegans that will be sailing on Norwegian Escape in Jan. We have cruised both RCL and Carnival numerous times. I just want to rest assured that we will not go hungry. We have notified Norwegian that we are vegans. Any great options?:confused:

I have cruised twice with my Vegan niece.

They modified soups in Le Bistro to be made with veggie stock.

They modified the Portabella stack (deleted goat cheese).

And best: They made her a wonderful "off the menu" dessert of banana brulee.

We always stopped by the specialty restaurant 24 hours in advance.

Excellent vegetarian Indian food in the buffet.

like other cruise lines, NCL is very helping with special diets. Just remember, as I am sure you already know, you are not going to have the selection mainsteam and vegetarians have to choose from. r r

When we traveled we picked when and where we were going to eat the day before due to DW's allergy. They brought us the menu and took her order and modified anything she wanted. Took a bit of pre-planning but they truly did handle it wonderfully.

we cruised last year with my vegan daughter, there was a manager in Savor named Horace on the Breakaway who couldn't have been more accomodating .. all she had to do was show up and as soon as he saw her he made it his business to make sure she had something delicious each night.. truly exceptional service. If you connect with the right person they will never go hungry. And even without Horace there were always options at the buffet she could choose from, and veggie options on the menus in the main dr.
