Galveston Port Parking Garage

I was looking at parking garages at port of Galveston. Both the VIP cruise parking and the Port of Galveston garage are across from the terminal. Although neither will pull up on the map correctly are these next to each other and does anyone prefer one over the other?

We have used VIP and we really liked them. We have not used the Port of Galveston parking garage. However they did park our car there when they had valet parking at the port but they have discontinued that now. Also there is Park and Cruise which is just behind VIP. We have parked there twice.

This year we are using the parking lot which is called Port Parking and it is down the road a little. We thought maybe it would be better for us because I use a wheelchair some and I can get on the shuttle in my wheelchair and be dropped off at the terminal.

We like being able to walk across the street to the terminal but it is kind of hard in the wheelchair going over the railroad tracks.
