Denali Hotel with HAL

Does anyone know which hotel HAL will use for its Denali stays this summer? I've asked this question before, but didn't get any responses. My itinerary tells me my hotel in Anchorage but not for Denali. Want to do a little research on the hotel before we go which is just over 3 months away now. Holy sh**. I better start packing!

They use a couple. I think McKinley Chalets and Grande Denali are two major ones. There's on around 10 miles south of Glitter Gulch - I think it's called the McKinley Park Village? It depends on how crowded they are.

The Chalets are owned by HAL so that is most likely where you will be. Last year some travelers were placed elsewhere if the Chalets were fully booked.

There was an ownership shift in some of the hotel properties in the Denali area about five years ago. That was when HAL purchased what is now the McKinley Chalet Resort, and that property is now under the Westmark umbrella. It is a large complex, so (as referenced by oaktreerb) the vast bulk of HAL passengers stay there. We've stayed there several times, but not since the ownership shift, and I like it. Crew News has posted a link to his photos, but I believe that there are even more in some of the trip reports posted in the threads at the top of this index.

The Denali Park Village is the complex located about eight miles south of the entrance into the National Park. Celebrity and Royal Caribbean contract with it for their cruise tours.
