They never were given every year. Further, the 2017 was not sold out and our 2018 is, according to those in the know, is also not breaking sales records.

It loses money and bookings have decreased over the past several years.

A no-brainer biz decision.

My concern is that this may be a trend since they dropped the Grand Med as well. If they would go to every few years that’s one thing but my fear is that this is another unwelcome permanent change.

Any prediction on if it will come back in 20 or 21?

Using the same vessel over and over becomes "old". Except, of course, for those who really love that particular ship. Changing the ship might stimulate more interest for the itinerary, particularly for those who have sailed a similar itinerary before.
