Boarding Independence from Southampton Today August 5th

Recommended Posts

I would be extremely grateful if you could find some info about the nursery for me. I guess I just want reassurance it’s onboard and opening hours and costs. Also what the availability is like for places in it ? We have a 2 year old who I am hoping will be able to use it on our upcoming cruise in October

Nice that you are doing this.:)

Can you please check if the golf course has a lift up to it. We were on the Indy in May and there was no lift up to the golf course. This meant my wheelchair confined DS could not play golf.

Yes it's there. Deck 12, the same deck as adventure ocean.

Sea days - 9-12 and 2-midnight.

Port days - 9-midnight

$6 an hour before 6pm

$8 an hour after 6pm.

8 kids at a time with 2 staff at all times.

Availability depends on how many babies and tots onboard who want to use it...

We watched Indy sail away from the beach at Southsea. She looked lovely in the evening sunshine.

We sailed on her for 2 weeks a couple of years ago in the Caribbean, and enjoyed it very much. The ice shows were great. Would be interested to know what the latest refit has achieved.

Is the buffet any different? It was a bit like school dinners, with a long line, and it was so busy. We tried to avoid it at all costs.
