Extra promotion in addition to the Anniversary Sale

Last night I booked our December Western Caribbean cruise on the Royal and got both the Anniversary Sale and a new Freeze Fare---extra $32 per person OBC. Valid for bookings made and deposited through next Monday. Not sure if they apply to all sailings. Just wanted to let everyone know.

It says the extra spending money is for residents but doesn't say residents of where? US? State specific?

When I talked to my Princess agent she said it was for California residents only. But I'm not in California and it let me book it. Oh, and I didn't get it by email---just booked directly on the Princess website and saw it under the sailing itinerary.

Looks to be a Resident promo for certain states and/or an email promo .
