First AZ cruise B2B Barcelona to Civitavecchia to Venice

Have the following questions:

1. Have Club Continent Suite 8042. Any noise issues? Understand Port side less noisy than Starboard?

2. Where to stay in Barcelona with easy transfer from Airport to Hotel and from Hotel to Cruise Ship? Want to spend 2 to 3 nights.

3. Can we buy wine during our one day change over stop in Civitavecchia to take on the ship?

4. Can we use our OBC to buy items in the Gift shop if we do not use it all on tours and upgraded drinks?

Appreciate any thoughts on the above.

Assuming you are leaving from the World Trade Centre Pier in Barcelona which Azamara usually does then the closest hotel is the Eurostars Grand Marina hotel which is actually in the WTC building. I’ve stayed there a couple of times and it’s a nice hotel with good service. It’s in a handy location for the HoHo bus and from the airport saves some of the time going round the one way system to get there as you would do in say the Gothic Quarter.

No problem buying wine in Civi to take onboard. There is no restriction (within reason).

Yes, you can use your OBC in any of the shops or photo gallery if you see a picture taken of you that you like.

Hi, we were in 8042 last June. There was occasional noise from the deck above, which was caused by the re-arranging of furniture in preparation for White Night or similar. Nothing to keep us awake. The CC suite was spacious and those on the port side have a sofa bed for a third person along with a bath with shower in the larger bathroom.

As an after thought, I believe starboard rooms would be noisier during the evening as the Patio dining area is starboard.
