QE on a cruise to nowhere.

The Captain is clearly trying to give us three ports, as planned. He also warned us that the sea state would be rough tonight but, as the wind will be on our stern, he doesn't think we'll notice much movement onboard. We've been onboard previously and been told to put everything away that isn't secured down. Now going to put iPad in the safe for the duration - were just going to chill out so don't really mind where we go.

For those of you who like to watch the webcams/ships trackers, QV is now leaving Southampton and heading straight to Rotterdam - not Zeebrugges as planned - we will get to Rotterdam late afternoon/early evening where we have been told we will be staying overnight so that we have a full day there on Thursday. We will then move to Zeebrugges overnight where we will then spend a full day on Friday. We will then go to Cherbourg, as planned, for a full day on Saturday. When did scanning the ships cards at Muster start? This was a new one on us, only experienced it on Princess before.

Thanks for the heads-up on the QV itinerary changes. Just watched you pass the webcam at the New Holmwood Hotel in Cowes. Looks like the weather isn't the best although I did notice one brave soul walking a dog and another out jogging past the webcam.

MarkBearSF previously reported that Cunard started scanning cards at the muster drill on QM2 beginning May 22, 2017, so that's a relatively recent procedure for Cunard.

Have a great voyage,

John
