Azamara wins two Cruise Critic 2017 awards!

I’m excited to share that Azamara Club Cruises has won two awards in Cruise Critic’s just announced 10th Annual Editor’s Picks for 2017: Best Itineraries and Best Shore Excursions for the Luxury Cruise Lines category.

Always nice to see Azamara winning awards!

On my link I can only see the winning being for shore excursions- mine is defaulting to .co.uk - are the results different between the two?

Interesting none of the plaudits are for the onboard experience - I guess the Azamazing evening tipped the vote on excursions.

Grandma Cruising can you share the selection criteria as that might explain the choices?

I really hate to be negative about awards like this, but do wonder whether the editor visits this forum. If they did I’d be very surprised at picking Azamara for shore excursions given the activity here on the current debacle for OBC usage and the various reports of inconsistent content and onboard service and delivery of shore excursions.

It’s all very well highlighting the concept of Azamazing evenings (I’ve been to a few very good ones) and Cruise Global, Connect Local, but there is more to winning an award than just that.

I definitely agree with the award for itineraries! Some amazing itineraries on Pursuit in 2019....having a hard time deciding!!
