Sports bar on equinox?

We're really looking forward to our first Celebrity cruise on 12-2. However the Big Ten championship game is the first night of the cruise. Looking at the deck plan, I didn't see a sports bar. Are there any venues on the ship you'd recommend that I watch the game? Thank you.

About the closest thing to a sports bar on Equinox is the Gastropub, was watching an NFL game in Sept. with an unruly drunk who didn't like Tom Brady. Not a fun experience but typical of a sports bar. Actually they have food and drinks and do have TVs with games on. It is right next to the casino where the bar also has sporting events. You may have to look around and find the game if it is broadcast at all. No guarantee.

Recent cruise on the Equinox. They showed a few college games but not many. It seemed as if they only games they could show were those on ABC, CBS, Or NBC

They showed many of the NFL games.

Nothing on ESPN except for European Football and I think cricket. A lot of us asked if they could change the channel and were told that they couldn’t.

Tried steaming some games and wasn’t too successful as the internet was very slow and couldn’t support the streaming. Ended up following the game I was interested in on ESPN game cast and that was really

behind

At the rear of the Gastro Pub the volume was on one screen so you could hear the game being broadcasted. There was some nice limited seating.

I would have loved watching the game with your "unruly drunk" friend. I hate Tom as well.

In fact, I think most NFL fans hate him, as well as the cheater coach. Only the few from the Northeast like the team.

Wasn't my friend, just to clarify,. He was drunk but funny and embarrassing to himself.

We have enjoyed in the past watching sporting events in the casino bar :)

perhaps we can watch some of the playoff games together while we are on our Jan 20th cruise together.... I see we have "other" interests as well... :evilsmile:
