What City Tour do you recommend for Mazatlan?

We were there in March. We walked off the ship and rented a pulmonia (open air taxi that looks a bit like a golf cart, but it's an actual vehicle) right at the port. We ended up renting it for 3 hours and it was a really reasonable price. We stopped at the beginning of our tour and picked up some beer and were able to drink in the taxi during the tour. He took us to several different touristy stops, including the beach and he took us to a restaurant for authentic street tacos for lunch. We requested this. We were going to go to a leather factory, but we ran out of time. We're really glad we did this. It was spur of the moment, so we weren't really sure if that's what we should do, but at the end of the day, we were so glad we did. It was our first time in Mazatlan and we didn't expect much. But we truly fell in love with Mazatlan and I'd like to go back and stay there some time. There were tons of expats there. I felt very safe everywhere we went.

Do you catch the double decker bus outside where the ship drops you? Or do you schedule on the ship?

If you can walk, Walk the blue line into town. It's a beautiful walk. The volunteers in the blue shirts are also very nice to talk with along the way.

Once you get done wandering around the historic district, grab one of the open air cabs and have them take you to the beach, or ask them to take you some where interesting.

This is what we do! Then we head to Stone Island!
