Meet and greet question?

I've never sailed with Carnival, but in my experience, your invitation to the Meet & Mingle will be waiting for you in your suite along with your shore excursion tickets, restaurant and spa reservations, and any other invitations, when you board.

I've never heard of a meet and mingle being organized by the ship. In my experience it has always been organized by a passenger who posts the date and time on the roll call and people from the roll call sign up. The organizer arranges with the ship to have a meeting place available and then a time.

Carnival, Celebrity, MSC and Royal organize the Meet & Greet/Mingle for those who sign up on CC. EM

I've received single page notices about the M&M co-hosted by CC & Carnival in my cabin the day before the event. I've also not received a notice. My last time on the Magic, it was supposed to be in the Fun Times but wasn't and but only 7 people showed up because the day and date on the "mimeographed" announcement didn't agree, and then it got rescheduled for the last day at sea.

Finally, my last Carnival cruise had the M&M at 7PM on the 1st sea day. I've read of other that got scheduled during sailaway. These M&M's are still awork in progress. I found the informal ones arranged by posters on the roll call had better turnouts.

Got a reply from Cruisecritic.com. Thank’s for responding.

Hi there,

Carnival generally posts the date and time for the meet and mingle in the Fun Times. You can also check with the customer service desk on boarding. Have a wonderful cruise!

According to Cruise Critic Web site, Feb 24 Port Canaveral Cruise has met the quota of at lease 25 people signed up to have a Meet and Mingle Party. How will participants be notified as to time and place of the gathering. I would like to be able to confirm with my traveling group that a Meet & Mingle gathering will occur. Any information you could provide or acknowledge about this gathering would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Kathyfromga
