We are working on excursions for our Xmas cruise aboard the Ovation. I feel more comfortable in a foreign land booking through the ship but it just seems like Auckland is a simple port full of many things to do. Is it easy to navigate and get around without adding a tour? I would love to see as much as possible between 8-6.

It’s a very walkable city; you’ll have no problem. If you want to do a tour, Time Unlimited is an excellent tour company! They give a complete tour of the area along with Maori history. We’ve toured with them before and will be again in February.
