Upgraded to Aft Penthouse on Pearl, I have questions????

We were just upgraded to and Aft Penthouse on the Pearl, woo hoo!!

1. What amenities do we get besides the butler?

2. What type of coffee machine is in the cabin? We like hot chocolate and not coffee and was going to try to find the pods before we leave.

The suite guest breakfast restaurant is nice. (Also lunch if you wish). I can't remember the name of the coffee machine, but the butler provided coffee and tea pods for it. Maybe hot chocolate is available from him/her. Those SF suites are nice with a great balcony and view.

I believe the coffee makers in the suites are now Nespresso. (Haven't been on the Pearl, but that was the case on the Jewel last year.)

One of the best perks is getting to have breakfast and lunch in whichever venue on the Pearl is designated for this purpose for suite guests (usually Cagney's or Moderno on the Jewel-class ships). You will also have access to the concierge, who can assist with dining reservations and other things if you feel you need assistance. He/she will also take care of getting you priority disembarkation in the ports and on the final day.

Not required of course, but depending on the service and how much you have used these folks, please do consider tipping the butler and concierge.

Butler brings lots of snacks. sandwiches, cookies, fruit, cheese. Concierge will book specialty restaurants. You get Special seating area in shows. Priority embarkation. Go to sign saying suites.

2. What type of coffee machine is in the cabin? We like hot chocolate and not coffee and was going to try to find the pods before we leave.

The machines are Nespresso. I get packets of hot chocolate in the buffet and make it in the room.

We also upgraded to an aft penthouse suite just yesterday. We booked last June in a standard balcony. We sail on June and can't wait to experience the suite life!! Have fun!

No hot chocolate pods.

The only problem is once you have stayed in a suite you will never want to go back

Just to add to this..... the Haven / Suite butler & conceirge are not part of the DSC distribution so keep that in mind when you factor the tip.
