Thanks Bonnie for your updates on Cuba. We are actively seeking for cruises there, which touch several ports. Not a caribbean cruise with one port in Cuba, but just Miami to Cuba to Miami, with several ports in Cuba. Hopefully we will find something like that.

AZ has several with two or three ports. I have also done land. Most toss in other ports but AZ has done many with two:and some with three ports, either way I spent more money per day then Bonnie but I ate off ship too.

Just a suggestion. Although this is CRUISE Critic, you do not have to do a cruise of Cuba. You can cover a lot more ground and see a lot more stuff on a land trip in Cuba because land vehicles move much faster than cruise ships. We did a 15 day land trip that was just wonderful. Just think of it as an option.

The advantage of a cruise ship in Cuba is that you CAN drink the water! Also you have much better food and accommodation while onboard the ship.

Yes, there are 5 star resorts to stay at, but there is also a lot of poverty in Cuba and getting back onboard the ship helps you to avoid some of the unfortunate sights/parts to Cuba. When staying and travelling on the island you cannot avoid those sights.
