Based on every high up and/or rotating tower with a fee for the elevator I've ever visited, eating a full meal in the resto (meeting a minimum $ spend or at least 1 Entree per person) you have a good chance of a 'free' ride up (as all the food is overpriced enough they get the cost of the ride back) - but not if you just want a drink in the bar.

Even a horrendously overpriced novelty cocktail in a collectible tower-shaped glass is still cheaper than the elevator ride. Very few businesses are dumb enough to let you get a pricey thing free when you buy a cheaper thing, and the ones that are don't tend to be in business long!

Maybe if your drink was an entire bottle of champagne per person you can negotiate once they get their bar open...;-)

Just did this 2 weeks ago. It had only opened 3 days before and it was really a cool experience!
