Night Life On The Norwegian Spirit, what type of music does the band play?

We are going on the Spirit at the end of the month.We are in our early 60's and like to do some dancing during the evenings. I read a review recently on Cruise Critics that the band on the Spirit would play one set, and would leave for an hour, with no DJ, no music in between. We were on the Spirit last year and the Jade this year, and both ships had an adequate live band that would play some dancing tunes. They did take breaks of course, but would be maybe 15 minutes. I did notice that for these ships, there would only be one venue at a given time with dancing possibilities, but they would not have two different venues happening simultaneously with live music that you can pick and choose which one to go to. I wonder has things changed very much for the past 6 months or so since we were on a Norwegian ship? Anyone who has been on the Spirit recently, would you please tell us your experience with the night life onboard, how was the band at the Galaxy? What type of music do they play? If I recall, the "disco" that was near the casino was not very well attended, so that really leaves only one venue for dancing, which means the Galaxy with the live band. Thank you in advance.
