Going on a Medi cruise 10/20/2018 on NCL Star. Do they offer self-assist debarkation?

Thank you. i am getting off in venice. hoping they offer self assist by then

I doubt they will. It’s a port decision.

I don’t know for sure, but I suspect it is because in some of the terminals you have to use a lift to get to the luggage hall. If people had bags with them then it would slow everything down too much. I can’t see that changing any time soon.

Just checking are you trying to get off early for an early flight? I just looked and it appears you get back in to port the same day we did this year-the day of the Venice marathon. It took a long time to get to Marco Polo from the cruise port due to a lot of roads being closed and the asssociated detours. Disembarkation was a breeze though and very fast.

Also the cruise before ours got into port very, very late due to fog shutting down the port. If I ever sail out of Venice again I would stay overnight at the end of our cruise and fly out the next day.
