Alicante, are there any vendors at the pier you can book with? Live band on Spirit

The NCL spirit will stop at Alicante during our cruise at the end of this month. We have visited it before and would like to do something else while in port this time. The ship excursions are rather pricey.Just wondering once you get off the ship, would there be local vendors or taxis you can get to do some sightseeing to the surrounding towns?

Has anyone just returned from the Spirit lately? How is the live band onboard? Do they play any good dancing music? What kind of music do they play?
