Just left Equinox yesterday and returned to rain and chill. UGH! After 8 cruises on RCI, we are loyal now to Celebrity. Still love RCI but X is truly a cut above in every way. The crew of the Equinox, reputed to be outstanding, did not disappoint. Our cabin attendant, Carlos, was beyond great. It seemed he worked 24/7 and nothing was too much trouble. We were Aqua class and Blu was definitely worth the extra cost (which was minimal when booked) . We also loved Tuscan and Murano. The music played throughout the ship was very enjoyable. We made many new friends and found everyone to be friendly. The ship is beautiful, well maintained and easy to maneuver. The ports were fabulous! A real highlight was dinner in Aruba at Barefoot Aruba. We dined right on the beach on fabulous food and saw the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen. So happy with Equinox that we are booked again next November.

A few "comments" not necessarily Equinox related. The chiar hogs were in full force and we did not see any pool police. It took a lot of perseverance to get seats. We did not use the persian Garden , which was an Aqua perk. The spa is VERY intimidating with many women approaching us the minute we hit to door trying to sell us things. We could not even look at Persian Garden without going to the desk and getting a pass. Had less security at the airport. We felt it was not very welcoming and just too much trouble. Two sea days together was not enjoyable to us but that is personal preference and we knew that was the itinerary. Having a port on the last day was a bit difficult knowing we had to return to pack. That being said, we actually began to pack the day before. We wished the ship had stayed longer in Key West since we were so close to Miami. That being said, we booked another cruise with Key West as first port but still not there late.

This was a fabulous cruise and we cannot wait for next November!
