Pre Day on POA.. doing tour how do you get to the port?

Been looking for this site for some time now.. thankfully I found it. A question, we are coming in a day and half before we leave port. we are doing a Stars and Stripes Tour on the day of departure. I have been told that our luggage will be transported to the ship from the Hotel... but has anyone done this tour ? Do they drop you off at the port or back to the hotel where you were picked up? If back at the hotel , do you just UBER to the ship? thanks in advance!

Who is transporting the bags to the port? The cruise line? The hotel? The Tour company?
