First time Alaskan cruise

Hello! My family- 2 adults, one 7 year old child are interested in planning an Alaskan cruise...where do I begin?

I would also enlist the help of a travel agent who specialized in Cruising and also is knowledgeable about Alaska.

We can't make recommendation on Cruse Critic so I would ask friends who cruise if they have a recommendation.

There was a recent thread about someone asking for first time advice and had a younger child. The one thing a lot of people mentioned, myself included, is that you may find some of the excursions limited because of the child's age. When we went, there were maybe a handful of young kids. There were a lot of older kids though. Just very few small kids. And like mentioned above, check the Alaska board.

Check into Disney cruises for Alaska -- they are all about children.
