Puppies Onboard?

We will be on the Grand this summer doing the round trip from San Francisco. We stop in Ketchikan, Haines & Juneau along with cruising the Tracy Arm. Does anyone know if they will bring puppies onboard at any of these stops?

They usually do this in Skagway. Not sure if they will do it in Haines or not.

OMG. Puppies???!!!!!????? We are sailing on the Westerdam next week. We stop in Skayway. Will I be able to smell the sweet scent of puppy breath??????

It is a Princess thing - they have Puppies in the Piazza. It really is cute.

I am guessing if you do any dog musing excursion, you will find puppies!

If you want to have a good look at the puppies, I suggest you plan to stake out a place early. We just got off the Grand, and there were some people who sat in the Piazza all afternoon to hold their places. We went down about half an hour early and found a good view looking down from the deck above.

Another suggestion would be to keep your afternoon clear. On our Ruby Princess sailing last week, Puppies in the Piazza was at 3p in Skagway, while a lot of the shore excursions still were out. We got back to the ship a little before 4 and all that was left was a dog bed in a playpen-sized fence in the middle of the Piazza. Glad we'd booked a sled-dog experience in Juneau earlier in the week!

Last month on the Ruby we couldn’t see anything in the piazza on any level because the crowds were 3-4 deep. Not even a peek through a crack.

Don't know but, they might leave a present to sniff...
