Norwegian Dawn -Stateroom question

Recommended Posts

Autumn of 2016 cabin 12522 - NO DVD player - movies were on demand showing 24/7.

Some 35 - 50 current recent movies available and about an equal number of past oldies.

Something for everyone. Movies in suites are free.

Cabin 12522 is a Family Balcony deck 12 port side near elevators.

Deluxe Owners Suites are forward on deck 12 overlooking the bow of the DAWN - the Bridge just below.

On decks 9 and 10 forward are the 2 Balcony Owners Suites.

All suites get the same level of the On Demand movies.

NO DVDs requiring ordering thru your Butler and no time limits for returning.

The wide FLAT Screen TVs are not ultra HD home theatre models but are passable for cruise entertainment.

No more bulky CRT cube boxes - Yay !

Thank you. With the Dawn being an older ship, I didn't know if they had upgraded or not. The Mrs. will be pleased that she will have the option of watching a movie without having to use a DVD player.

Regards,

Are you in an inner our outer DOS? (Not that it will have an impact on dvd vs pvp.)

When the OP replies DOS Suites 12502 Port side wing and 12500 Starboard side wing are outers

12500 Port inner - 12000 Starboard inner both of these overlooking the nose of the bridge.

Note these suites do not have a balcony - and perhaps wisely so - if they did - opening balcony doors while

underway may leave quite a mess with stuff blowing around the cabin slamming doors etc.

I was in 12000 in April and will be again on August 10th and we loved it. 2 bedrooms & great location. Not as nice of a view as the outer but we loved having the second bedroom for our son. Didn’t mind no balcony either as we just walked down the hall to the pool. Although I will say, we stayed in the Owners Suite also with the two balcony’s and also loved that as well. Hey, as long as I’m cruisin I’m happy!😊
