Shore excursions New England and Canada

Recommended Posts

We booked Ollies Trolleys in Bar Harbour when we got off the ship.

Check also the Canada/New England ports of call:

You take your chance waiting to book once you arrive. We are sailing 6/1 and we didn’t have room on either Oli’s Trolley or the

Acadia Park bus for our group over a month before. We were lucky to find a private tour. You can go on their website and prebook.

Yes, that's true, but the OP was asking about the possibility to book, not availability.

In our case, we considered this cruise as a "weather-related" cruise, and took our chances not booking anything beforehand.

Suppose it will be raining buckets in Bar Harbour, what's the point of paying 40$??? No refunds if it rains. That's us.

As it turned out, the weather was perfect, and we had to compromise with a later hour tour than we preferred, but I believe that there are always possibilities to find something. We just had lunch before the tour, instead of after.
