the snap is easily opened...thus..make certain that you put the strap around the suitcase handle...then thread it threw the open slot...it is a hard push..but it will go..that will help prevent loosing the tag.

Alternatively, you can keep it for souvenir, and use the sticky paper tags instead. These 10th anniversary tags may be considered a collectors' item!

It is a leatherette luggage tag with an aluminium badge on it that says "Silversea 10 years of excellence 1994-2004" (with the "10 years" in large type italics at the centre, and other words around a circle near the perimeter). Since you are a distinguished member of the Venetian Club, I believe they will give you a couple for souvenir if you ask for it, even if you are not on a particular cruise for which they will noramlly give this tag!
