Los Angeles arrival, flight time?

Celebrity Eclipse is scheduled to arrive in Los Angeles at 6:00 AM, previous ports are Sta Barbara, Sn Francisco, Victoria and Vancouver. At what time you recommend me to book the plane LAX to DFW.

Noon or later...

Just because they say they arrive at 6:00 am, it doesn't mean anyone actually gets to disembark that early...Figure earliest group off is maybe around 7:30...and I wouldn't depend on getting off earlier than around 8:30-9:00 am...and you often find some lines to wait in, delays retrieving luggage, etc. LAX recommends getting there two hours before your flight for a domestic route...It's 20 miles from the pier to LAX...So, once you locate your ground transportation, you COULD get there as quick as a half an hour...but, depending on day of the week, there will be some traffic...Locals will always call this an hour ride--to be safe...

So, figure you're off the ship at 8:30, through the lines and to your ride by 9:00 am, at LAX by 10:00 am...So, that means a noon flight at the earliest...

Could you book an earlier flight and make it? Likely yes....for something as early as 11:00--but make sure you have the earliest time off, you roll off your own luggage and you have a non-shared ride waiting...BUT, still think noon or later to be on the safe side...
