Maasdam Port Everglades Sail-Away May 7, 2018

The Maasdam is the only ship in Port Everglades today at Pier 26. She is on its way from the West Coast to the summer season in the North East. She is scheduled to depart at 16:00/4:00 PM EDT.

If both are on time we can watch Maasdam sail-away and then Nieuw Amsterdam sail-in to Juneau.:D

Thanks for the update. We’re on the Maasdam but have not heard a new departure time. I knew I’d find out all I needed to know here.

This is our 44th day on board & will write a mini review once home.

Ready to sail from Ft. Lauderdale less about 460 passengers who got off today. No new cruisers due to the Jones Act. Not sure about the later departure time??? Nice time thru the Canal even though it was hot and muggy.

Just confirmed from Captian, 5:15pm departure. Also the ship had an FDA (?) inspection with a score of 99%!!!! Cheers rose up as the captain announced the score.

Looks to me like most lines are down.
