What kind of power strip can I take on the Breakaway? 2 prong? 3 prong? Extension cords?

UL-listed 3 prong, non-surge suppressed power strip are what we carry & use these days (see image/picture below - 3 outlets, short strip from Ikea. If you come across & have 2 prong ones, they are fine.

I also use a short 6" 3 prong outlet extender with a power tap on the plug's end, i.e. laptop power supply + Anker 4-port USB high output 2A charger.

Depending on the ship, a 220-240 volt adapter plug will allow use of dual-voltage charger, common with smartphone and iPhone/iPads. Optional - always carry mine - high output LED flashlight, adjustable focus with hi/low/blinking mode (rechargeable or 1.5 AA battery)

Basically - a simple strip with no surge features.

We carry a simple extension cord that will work for our phone chargers and my CPAP if outlet is not close enough.

The outlets are made for grounded 3 prong plugs. I bring a 6 outlet strip, and have never had any issues.;)

Just go to the front desk on the ship and ask to borrow one for your cruise.
