Between your comment, Lenda and Ruth's re: mirror in the bathroom, I'm going to remember to get it really foggy in there before I jump in! (you guys crack me up :'))

Another question - we always book cabins that have one above and one below but that's not possible on Deck 9 ... has anybody ever stayed in or visited one of the Vista suites directly above the casino and if so, how much noise filters up? We're looking at A168 as a possibility but not if I'm going to hear noise at any or all hours.

First a mirror on the wall with the tub is different.

We have not stayed in a Vsta suite above the casino, but when we walk through the casino it is rarely well utilized. Very few times have there been more than two or three people at the slots and usually no one at the tables.

Our current cabin is above the showroom, and the noise from the shows and rehersals is not overpowering. Generally, we can hear the drummer, but not very loudly.

So unless someone is losing badly or is on a hot streak, I wouldn’t worry too much about noise from the casino. It is a pretty sedate place on the P’dam.

Maybe, someone else can give you better information.

My concern about a cabin above the casino is smoking and the smell drifting upward. I remember the casino being very quiet, but can't remember about the smoking policy in there.

Just returned from the Prinsendam and smoking is permitted except for gala nights. I don’t believe you will have a problem with the smoke as there are very few people in the casino. As a previous poster said the casino is not very busy

Until our roll call gets on :'). There are a few of us that use the casino. And work on a casino discount for the next cruise ;) But, we're really not rowdy;)
