markf Posted November 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2017 A wonderful week, from a new Yorker who is tough to please. Service top notch, food very good. Choices for dinner could have been greater. Another interesting observation, no comedian , many musical shows, concerts, piano player, opera etc. All good but I did miss a comedy show. probably due to English speaking passengers not being a majority. But I do look forward to another trip on YC class. any questions, please ask

Proseccoandsun Posted November 12, 2017 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2017 Glad you had a great cruise! We love the Divina. MSC is trying to appeal to more of the North American market and will have a comedy club on Seaside. A wonderful week, from a new Yorker who is tough to please. markf Posted November 12, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted November 12, 2017 honestly don't remember his name-the butler was around but didn't offer anything out of the ordinary. he was pleasant, but never came to me to ask if he can get me something--nor did I ask
Rare Hlitner Posted November 12, 2017 #8 Share Posted November 12, 2017 Sounds like a great cruise. Welcome back home. Keith Comedians are not a good thing on a very international cruise line. Just consider how much you would have enjoyed an Italian Comedian doing jokes is Swahili. Hank
markf Posted November 12, 2017 Author #9 Share Posted November 12, 2017 I understand, but they could have had a magician , and mix it up
OceansOfTravels Posted November 13, 2017 #10 Share Posted November 13, 2017 I am glad you enjoyed it! I recently cruised MSC for my first time and it was easily my favorite cruise to date. I would definitely do it again in a heartbeat. I did not cruise in the YC, so I will have to do it someday. Either way, I'm glad you had a great cruise! :)

Proseccoandsun Posted November 17, 2017 #13 Share Posted November 17, 2017 I heard it's going to be improv style. Not our favorite but could be good for some laughs. Especially when you have an all inclusive drinks package, lol. ;p Ditto on the Divina. Booked Seaside in March. Any details on the comedy club?
