Lots of information on that topic on the following thread from the British Isles forum

Thank you...reading those posts was a little mind boggeling;p Hopefully I'll learn more by the time we leave next Sept. Our last 2 adventures in GB before or after a cruise was renting a car and staying inDevon and Cornwal. But after 2 flat tires and dirt roard to nowhere we decided to use the trains. Fell in love with them while airbnbing in Cornwal.

We are planning on staying a few days in London after our Baltic cruise. Is THE LONDON PASS a good deal or a tourist scam??? This will be in Sept 2018:D

Depends on what you are hoping to see and do in London. I would suggest that you figure out what you most want to see and visit, then compare the cost of the London Pass to what you could do on your own. For us, the last time we were in London it was more economical to use the tube and pay our own admissions. That being said, it again depends on the places you want to see!
