That's a good idea having them at the casino bar --- that way I can kill two birds with one stone (not that I kill birds... only eat them ;)) !

Notice that you are winding down your Carnival cruising. I think we are going to do the same. We are going on the Miracle this weekend for the Aruba/Curacao itinerary ......this will be our 25th, so we got a nice OBC for this trip, but I am growing a little tired of all of Cahill's cutbacks over the past two years, so we are going to explore other lines. NCL, Celebrity, and Holland America are our future targets. Carnival just seems unfazed by concerns of seasoned cruisers, and the Loyalty Program kind of sucks after 25, so I think we're done unless it's a deal we can't turn down.

I checked with a co-worker who speaks Tagalog, and she was not familiar with that word, so apparently not an internal nationality thing.

E for effort? :)

Tom, I have PETA holding on Line 1 . . . are you available to take their call? :p

It may be only a small percentage of people here on CC, and Milestone is only a small percentage of CCL . . . but I'm definitely seein' a pattern here.

Tom, pardon me for the mini hi-jack but I got all excited when I spotted some added photos in your photobucket link ... only to be shot down with 3 poker shots:(

Dude, the suspense is killing me!

Don, can I say the same suspense thing to you too? I need my fix gentlemen ... please:D;):o

We sailed that itinerary on the Miracle in January - and I will say we enjoyed the new (for us) ports. I know that they have different port times on different sailings - we were in Aruba until 10 PM or so, thus were able to have a super nice sunset dinner on the beach ("Passions on the Beach").

By the way, the Malcolm (CD when we sailed) screwed up the Fun Times more than once --- as was obvious by announcements over the PA system. I think you are familiar with him -- right?

Perhaps we will still get together (on another line, LOL) and have that arm wrestling match! :D

Jump on a Solstice class ship --- I can guarantee you'll love it!

I'll get back to you on that one -- keep 'em on hold! ;)

I know... I know... Cheryl is telling me the same thing. I have been pretty busy (though that's not an excuse). In Miami for a couple of days for continuing education. Then a quick week prior to a quickie cruise this time next week!

Hey Tom, I think they were the band in Michaelangelo's when I was on my cruise on her back in September. I'm not 100% since I was only in there a few times (and the memories get spotty with an open bar card ;)), but I remember them having a weird name. If it is the same band I remember them being pretty good.

No doubt! :D

I check them out on the first night. We all know just how fast those short sailings go - so I probably shouldn't wait much beyond that!

I heard that there is a new band on the Sensation. I am familiar with most of the "Music" bands, but had never heard of them.

Anyone out there run across them?

THANKS,

Tom

The last I heard they were on the carnival inspiration out of long beach but they may have moved on by now they were on the carnival paradise out of tampa after they left the sensation they were an outstanding band great music and really cool guys we miss them and the other great Filipino bands that played on carnival in the past we used to plan our cruises by which band was currently playing but carnival has made drastic cutbacks ever since the costa Concordia tragedy and cutting the bands as well as the lido reggae bands are part of the cutbacks we used to go on about 8 cruises a year but now with no live bands only about 1 or 2 cruises a year

This band was AMAZING! We had the best time listening to them and went to most of their shows! Just off the Miracle a few weeks ago and they will be there until September. I believe they said the next ship is Triumph. They play in the Red Frog Pub so not much seating, get there a little early, so worth it!!
