Halloween Celebrations Expanded thru Month of October

Halloween is on the 31st October but this year Carnival has chosen to add an extra massive dollop of Halloween fun.

 

We will have full Halloween celebrations on every ship for cruises staring on October 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th and through the rest of the month.

 

Book now, call your travel agent, call carnival and get your Vampire, Witch and chubby grey haired Brand Ambassador costumes ready

Pretty excited, as we've been booked for October 14th for about 500 days now. lol

Yay! So excited for this! We leave on the Dream on Oct 7th. Halloween is daughter's fav holiday and the granddaughters will love it too. Hope they have some great props for pics! LOL

I am back on Liberty 10/21 after 11 years away. I won a golden piece do “Ship” in 2007 for Mr. and Mrs. Death take a vacation. Denice you will be remembered .

We always try to do a Halloween cruise, More excitement and the costumes are really unique. This could be the start of longer American seasonal activities aboard Carnival ships. Seems Carnival realizes the holidays are festive for their customers so their making those events longer , bringing more money to the Carnival table . Even sending out their LIP man to advertise it. ;p

I hope this is something that they decide to keep and do every October.

Little disappointed as we always book during the actual Halloween date, kind of takes away a little to celebrate all month. Crew will be over Halloween by the time it actually arrives.

I don't know, hopefully not. They seem to do ok with Christmas for the entire month. At least this will give more people the opportunity to get to experience it that can't cruise during the actual holiday.

I wonder what they will do? Two years ago we had a cruise that ended on Halloween and they did NOTHING. I thought something would be going on but the only thing they had was a dance lesson to Thriller (which they did other times of the year anyway), so nothing special. Hopefully we will see something new this time!

Was it a Carnival cruise ? They have costume contest along with decorations around the ship. Drink specials and so forth .

Yep. I’ve been on 17 cruises and they were all Carnival. I know my way around the ship so I feel I would have seen something.

I'm hoping to see this desert we saw on our honeymoon 10 years ago in October. It was a piece of pumpkin cheese cake but they had hidden out under a ghost made out of some type of dough

Yea you should have . Every Carnival ship I have been during Halloween was decorated as stated in my previous post . But they took the decorations down fairly quick around midnight . Tons of Fun if your into it .

I just assumed since we were debarking on October 31st, they saved the decorations for the people coming onto the ship that day. I was kind of disappointed except I was on a cruise and who can be disappointed on a cruise!! We were on the Victory and it sailed Oct. 26-31 and we usually go on longer cruises. I just figured they didn't do halloween stuff on the shorter ones.

This sounds like fun !

We are on a 14 day Hawaii cruise departing October 13th. We will have the 5 year old GD with us.

Halloween on a ship is a BLAST!! Cruised over Halloween last year, doing it again this year and can't wait!

I wonder if they expanded it to take advantage of the popularity of this summer's Hotel Transylvania 3, which takes place on a cruise ship?

(Yes, it was my 8-yr-old who came up with that idea, but I think she may be on to something...)

It means you missed it by two sailings, yours doesn’t qualify and the one starting on 10/3 wouldn’t either.
