Eurodam Room Stewards

There are multiple stewards working on each deck. The stewards also come and go as their contracts are up.

So unless someone is in the same set of rooms as your cabin is in and the steward hasn't left because of the end of contract, no one can give you that information.

Thanks for enlightening me!

We've had cabin stewards change on some of our longer cruises. In our case, the simply switched sides of the hall, port to starboard. Unless you get really lucky and someone who is on right before you is both on your deck and your section of cabins, I doubt you'll get any info.

Do the room stewards work the same deck area throughout the season or do they move around? If they work the same area, can someone tell us about the steward working the 5th deck on Eurodam? Getting ready for our Sept Alaska cruise!

I've never seen someone ask this question before. I'm just curious as to why you are asking. Did you have a previous bad experience with a cabin steward?

Their contracts do not run same dates for start and finish. They come and go and sometimes go to different ship for their next contract.

WE have Sailed same ships many times and often same ca bin. By coincidence, we have met up with a steward who has taken care of us in the past.

Last cruise I sailed with DH was on Veendam. My first HAL cruise alone was on Veendam in same cabin and hadtthe same steward. . He remembered d me and my late DH when he saw me at the start of the cruise. I had some small photos in frames set out on the counter and he enjoyed seeing HAL 'people' in them.
