Marigot - Nut carving vendor

A couple of years ago we were in Marigot, and in the open market we found a vendor with amazing carvings made out of a local nut tree.

Sadly we never got her name, and there are no initials of any kind on the ones we purchased. I tried searching internet for her, but I had no luck.

All I remember is she was Caucasian, in her thirties, slender, with dark hair. I want to say she was next to a rug vendor. Has anyone else seen these products in Marigot recently?

The nuts are tagua, and, I believe, come from South America. She is a fixture at the market, so if you make a visit, she'll probably be there.

We've bought a few pieces from her, after learning about them in Panama.

I have some Tagua but bracelets that I love! Very durable and pretty... Also ecologically sound

I'm going to be in the area in April, and she is the only reason I'd go to Marigot back again so soon.
