VIP to get in the water at LFK? Really

We are planning an excursion for our July 8th Getaway sailing. I was sold on Little French Key and then I read 3 more reviews where people indicated you had to be "VIP to get guaranteed access to the water"?!?! Is that accurate? Do people wade in shifts by the color of your wristband? I'm confused.

I'm not a fan of little French Key mostly because their morals are questionable. With that said I cannot imagine how they would restrict who gets in the water and who doesn't.

If you have a moment post links to the reviews that you're talking about maybe we can suss out what they're trying to say.

No you do not need to purchase the VIP package to go into the water at LFK.

Included in the VIP package is a photo op you get with their Jaguar in the water.

I think the confusion is from a few post where those who bought the basic packages and then wanted to include the pic with the jaguar in the water but were told that it was only available for those who purchased the VIP package. I think it used to be available as an add on but they may have decided to do away with it and only offer it to those who bought VIP as it may have been to taxing on the animal.

Feel sorry for the poor jaguar.:(

Amen!!

On the surface they push themselves as a rescue and then they do stuff like this. A proper rescue would never allow such a thing. LFK does it for money, it is shameful. As I said questionable morals.
