you MIGHT get a good deal - do not ASSUME the prices are good

 

 

 

but you must know your prices and models to ensure you compare apples to apples

 

 

and altho you can save tax you will exceed your duty free limits so will have to pay

 

 

 

unless you plan to sneak it in which I don't recommend - penalty for getting caught is not nice.

 

My father bought several watches in Cayman over the years but had made his 'best deal' at home first and knew exactly what he was willing to pay in the islands for it to come out in his favor in the end. He was a watch freak ...

Yea, probably the most expensive island you will visit. My wife did buy a Philip Stein but that was because of selection, not price, that's for sure.

 

Just know what they cost before you go. Normally I'd buy something expensive at home instead of the islands but the selection was fantastic.

 

Ended up that they are not really discounted much so we didn't pay anymore that I would have elsewhere but we didn't get a deal either.
