Stayed at Crowne Plaza once.Nothing near by. Stayed at Hotel Quirinale twice and it was great. One of oldest hotels in Rome.nothing fancy, but the ambiance was awesome. Right next to Opera House and has an outdoor garden where you can have dinner or a drink with an entertainer playing Italian songs . Great breakfast in morning and happy hour in the evening. Close to subway and some rest. nearby. Booked direct with hotel as they have specials. Good luck with choice and enjoy.

We stayed at IQ HOTEL ROMA, it is right across the street from the opera house. We spent two nights pre cruise, and two nights post cruise. I Am handicaped an use a mobility scooter to get around. The only placed we could not walk to was the Vacatian. They took great care of us, staff very friendly.
