ivanp91 Posted March 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2018 The fireworks are off the starboard (right-hand) side.
gometros Posted March 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2018 Topside (Sorry, couldn't resist ;p ) Ivan is correct, they shoot them off the starboard side. We usually take an aft stateroom on the Dream or fantasy and I can see them nicely from my veranda.

moki'smommy Posted March 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2018 Thanks it seem strange they do fireworks flames and boats don’t mix very well Sent from my iPhone using Forums Disney had to receive special permission to do fireworks. It was granted in part due to their experience and safety record. DCL must have driven the Coast Guard crazy during planning and construction with all their special requests--some were simple like the color or the lifeboats. Some were more complex like the fireworks. The answer to OP is starboard aft. Guess they no longer send the letters asking you to NOT be on your balcony or have anything out there during the fireworks. But you'll still see better from an open deck. I'm not sure that aft balconies ever got the letters... But there are balconies whose occupants DO get letters that they are requested to not be on the balcony during fireworks. Should something happen and you get injured, it would be a hard case to win since you were advised to not be out there. As far as leaving items on your balcony, you're not supposed to be doing that anyway - regardless of if it's fireworks night.
