Anyone off of the Liberty lately?

We liked the ship, it was the largest of the 3 ships we have sailed with Carnival. Donkey, the cruise director was a blast and really kept us wanting to go to more events than in past cruises. The Love and Marriage show is not to be missed. We don't have any young kids, but the hubby even went to the Suess Story Time, just because and we laughed alot. I found that it kept us entertained more than the Paradise or the Ecstasy in previous years. We are from Florida so laying around baking by the pool or donating to the ship's casino is not a huge draw for the hubby and I. She was clean, the food was excellent, the waitstaff we had in the MDR was probably the best we have ever experienced. The steward did his job, but was not all that friendly. We really had no complaints.

We've been to Nassau a few times previously and only got off the ship to wander around Bay Street and the shops. We didn't want to do a beach excursion since we take a week at the beach in July and I knew there was a 40% chance of rain. So I think we were off ship a total of 2-3 hours and then back to some delicious food at the BBQ Place and a nap. LOL

We are sailing on Liberty this May on a 4 day. We are going to Nassau and Princess Cay. Does the 3 day go to Princess Cay and if so, thoughts? Thx!

We are doing the same itinerary in July. I think the 3 day just goes to Nassau.

I’ll be on Liberty for the 4-day May 13th sailing with my Mom, daughter, my BFF and her daughter. I’ve been to Nassau a few times but this will be my first visit to Princess Cay. I thought about renting a bungalow but decided against it for several reasons. Can’t wait to check out the island! [emoji41]

  • 2 weeks later...

We were on the March 4 4-day to Nassau and Princess Cays. The entertainment was outstanding. There was an excellent house band that played in the atrium most nights, along with a 3-person string group and a 3-person brass group. Also two singers. Sometimes all the groups performed together. I would say it was probably the best house music I've experienced on a cruise. I was very pleasantly surprised.

The first theater show had to be reduced to just singers because the sea was to rough for the dancers to perform, but the Rock show on the last night was very high-energy and fun.

That sounds great! I hope that’s the house music when we are on Liberty in May.

Did you enjoy Princess Cay? Thanks!
