Caribbean to Amazon Cruise December 2019

We are on the point of booking the above cruise, but having read the cruise critic forum, we are regretfully having second thoughts. Can anyone still booked on the 2018 cruise enlighten us as to whether the many issues which have veen mentioned are likely to have been resolved? We have read between the lines, as always, and some of the comments about poor entertainment etc are of no consequence to us - neither are the rundown areas we are to visit. This is Brazil, not the Mediterranean, but safety and boring ‘walk past tours’ are a worry! Any comments very gratefully received.

We are scheduled for the November 2018 and are pushing forward and hope that Viking has listened and excursions improved. We did the WC and the excursions for the most part were very good.
