QM2 stops at Dakar

We are still anchored off Dakar, Senegal awaiting a local boat to arrive and transport a sick passenger off the ship. We must have been here at least two hours waiting.

Thanks for the update. I was wondering what was taking so long since medical evacuations are usually done quite quickly. Marinetraffic appears to show QM2 tender 14 was involved in the operation at some point (about an hour and a half ago).

Regards, John

We have a Senegal flag flying, but the Sahara sand/fog/ wind makes it impossible to see Dakar, maybe a mile away.

I took a picture of the flag flying from our mast for scrapbook proof we were here.
