Queen Elizabeth Questions

I have searched but without success so for Cunard cruisers, please can you tell me which sockets are available in Queen Elizabeth's cabins, i.e. UK, US or European?

Also, we'll be cruising from SFO to Auckland on a leg of the World Cruise. Will most men wear white dinner jacket while in the South Pacific, or will black DJ suffice?

Thanks!

You'll find all three types, but not necessarily in any sensible allocation. E.g. there were eight US, one European, and one UK socket available in the Q5 I was in last month.

There are a mixture of US & UK sockets on all 3 ships.

In my cabin the UK socket was set "on the wall" just above a counter top. Most UK plugs would have fitted this however my phone charger had an elongated rigid plastic sleeve which fouled on the counter top. A 13 amp 2 or 3 way block would have sorted the problem out.

Does Cunard allow a power board to be brought onboard? Some cruise lines don't.
Do you mean like a power strip? As long as it doesn't contain a surge suppressor you should be OK. I use a travel one with a short cord so it doesn't take up much space.

I had a outlet extender but didn't need it. With the tv on the all there were plenty of outlets. We just completed a holiday cruise on QE & loved the ship. We have 100+ days on qm2 but it was out first time on QE. A magnificent ship. Enjoy
