Latitudes points on chartered cruise?

My son was recently on one of the Holy Ship festival cruises. His latitudes points never showed up and NCL said he does not get any because the ship was chartered out. Knowing how often the representatives are misinformed, I thought I'd ask here if that is correct.

That is correct. Charters do not receive points.

They are correct as your son technically bought the cruise from the company that chartered the ship and not NCL like you do on a normal cruise.

There is one exception. The Sixthman charters DO get points. That was part of the negotiated contract between the companies. Other charter companies do not get points.
