Sailing Wednesday to the Bahamas on the Epic very concerned [emoji19]

You will be on the diminishing side of the storm. 9-12 feet during day at start but down to 3-6 feet by the time you get to GSC. It won't be too bad in a ship that size. I don't know what GSC tender requirements are but 3-6 is probably OK.

Keep your eyes on the Breakaway (ship's live webcam), with a scheduled stop this Wednesday - sea conditions for the region, including waves & swell still not looking too hopeful, but you never know for sure this early. The Sky is scheduled tomorrow ... not sure if there's another NCL ship calling on GSC on Thursday while the Epic docked at Nassau.

The challenge, often, is the wind - for those double decker tenders, with a capacity of 400 - 500 pax each; and, safety consideration of the transfer between the big ship and the tender. Loading & unloading can be drastically slow down even if a fraction of the pax wished to go ashore. Sometimes, as forecast changed & conditions worsen, everyone must rush back to the ship and that return tendering being scary to anyone with motion sickness.

Good luck & let us know if the Epic managed to make a stop, get a fun day at sea or end up staying overnight at Nassau (if a berth is available) ... meanwhile, we are on another winter storm watch & possible Nor-Easter again, 6" to 10" said NWS while AccuWeather calling just 3" to 6" for Wednesday - Spring isn't here soon enough.
