Iditarum Charters - Six-Hour Catamaran Sail/Snorkel/Beach Excursion

Hi Drake - somebody on my January cruise is organizing a day sail with the above guy - sails out of near Christiansted.

I believe you are on the other side of the island, but I thought I'd take a chance and ask anyway.

Do you have a comment either way? If it passes muster, any ideas on where to go?

I think he stops at Shoy beach and anywhere else we want.

He does not go to Buck Island.

TripAdvisor has reviews going back to 2015 - 5 star rated.

Looks like they do longer trips, as well.

It's not cheap, so I don't think they cater to cruisers, or other regular folks.

I'm sure it is a lovely day, but I am ambivalent, as I have 3 other day sails booked on this trip.

If I go, I'll report back.

If not, I'll take a shorty sail with Big Beard, then buy you and the Mrs. a drink for all your help here!

I asked around with some friends that do a lot of charters, the reviews were overall positive.

If it's something you want to try I'd say do it.
