I'm studying the itinerary of our upcoming June cruise and would welcome your comments about Saaremaa, Estonia and/or Klaipeda, Lithuania.

I did note that SB says that tours in Lithuania are not up to the usual SB standard. Have any of you taken one? I see that Klaipeda is city of 200,000, so probably not walkable?

What about Saaremaa, Estonia? I see that Kuressaare is the main town and has an old town area. Have any of you experienced this port/place?

Klaipeda is a small town. Some pretty medieval buildings. Nothing that is a ‘must see’, but pleasant to walk around. A little craft market. But the best thing is that they have established a sculpture trail through the town, so you can have a wander and find the sculptures - the favourites are the ghoul on the dockside, the dragon and the little mouse.

wdmd, are you talking about Saaremaa Estonia or Klaipeda, Lithuania. From what I read Klaipeda is a town of 200,000? Is that what you found? More details please for the uninformed.
