Chilkoot Charters Rail and Bus 12 noon departure versus Princess 7:30 ammulti lingual

Chilkoot Charters does not have a 7:30 or 8:30 am departure available on the day we are in port in mid June. Is the 12 noon departure just as good? The princess equivalent tour is multi lingual with what appears to be a recorded tour you listen too but they have 7:30 and 8:30 am times. Thoughts?

The tour should be the same. As long as you have at least an hour or more from the end time of the tour until your re-boarding time, you should be fine.

Unless you prefer / want the multi-lingual tour, I would use Chilkoot. Their tour buses are generally smaller than what the ship tours use and the train is the same, other than the specific car you are in.

One tip for the best views - if taking the bus first, sit on the right side. Bus last, sit in the left. Train first - sit on the left. Train last, sit on the right.
